You have until January 16th to purchase tickets for Handbags for Hospice.
WOODSTOCK - Ticket sales are about to close for Handbags for Hospice.
It will be taking place at the Oxford Auditorium on Friday February 6th this year and all tickets have to be purchased online here before Friday, January 16th.
Fund Development Coordinator Chelsea Stephens says they're raising money for some kitchen upgrades at VON Sakura House.
"Handbags for Hospice raises money for what we do at VON Sakura House, but this year in particular our Fund of Need, which is a portion of the night, will raise money for our kitchen which really is the heart of our home at Sakura. It was a residential kitchen that was built to be a residential kitchen, but in the time we have been there which is just over 16 years, it has served over 3,000 families! It is starting to show some ware, but it is such an important piece of the home, so that is what our Fund of Need is focused on this year."
The evening will include live and silent auctions in addition to delicious food, raffle prizes, a wine pull and more. It will also follow a disco theme this year, encouraging everyone to #ShimmerForSakura.
Stephens says they have 14 VIP tickets remaining, which will give you access to the event one hour before the 6:00 p.m. start time do you can scope out the auction tables before hand, all while enjoying charcuterie snacks and listening to live music. VIP tickets cost $150 each.
She adds over 60 percent of their general admission tickets have sold and they still have some tables available for groups. Tickets cost $100 each or $1,000 for a table of 10.
Handbags for Hospice has raised over $1.9 million over the past 11 years.
