WOODSTOCK - If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball.
Registration is now open for United Way Oxford's 4th annual UDodge Tournament.
Resource Development Coordinator Brittany Taylor says they're looking for teams of 10 who are familiar with the five D's in dodgeball; dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.
"We've got about eight teams fully registered and I think we've had almost 18 come back with some interest and we're looking for 20 to 24 teams this year."
Each team has to raise $500 for the organization, which works out to be about $50 a player.
Taylor says they had over 120 adult participants last year.
"I don't know if it's the nostalgia from the elementary school days; coming back into the gym, that comradery and healthy competition hopefully but definitely it's grown a lot."
The fundraiser has raised over $31,000 for United Way Oxford since 2015.
The coveted wrench trophy will be on the line once again when the tournament gets underway on Saturday April 21st at Cowan Park.
You can e-mail Brittany Taylor (brittany@unitedwayoxford.ca) to sign up. You can also call 519-539-3851.
