Thanks to The Oxford County Health Centre and Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic young men in our community can dress to the nines for their graduations and proms.
INGERSOLL/TILLSONBURG - The first Annual Suit Up Oxford is happening this week.
All winter the Oxford County Health Centre and Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic have been collecting suits, shoes and formal wear for boys to wear to graduation or prom. They wanted to do something for the boys after seeing the success of the All Dressed Up event.
Stephanie Nevins Clinic manager at Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is excited about the inventory they collected.
"I know we have several suits available and we also have several individual items like dress pants, business casual pants, dress shirts, ties, shoes and things like that."
She adds the first pickup collection date is happening on Wednesday.
"This week on Wednesday April the 3rd from 3-7 p.m. is our first pickup or fitting date here at the Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic on the second floor of 19 King Street East in Ingersoll."
They will also have another pickup and fitting date in Tillsonburg on April 10th at Glendale High School from 3-7 pm. You can contact the Oxford County Health Centre and Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic to register for the event or just show up on the day.
They are also still accepting donations at both locations. Nevins says they got the idea for the event after seeing the success of the All Dressed Up event where young ladies in Oxford County are provided formal dresses, shoes and other accessories for their prom and grade 8 graduations.
You can also make arrangements for pickup by emailing Stephanie at snevins@ingersollnplc.ca or aboesterd@oxchc.ca.
