It will be a chance for residents to provide input on the proposed 2019 budget and user fees and see what the tax rates will be this year.
East Zorra Tavistock - The Township of East Zorra Tavistock is having a public meeting next Wednesday.
It will be a chance for residents to provide input on the proposed 2019 budget and user fees. Mayor Don McKay says they always have a public meeting when they are about to finalize the budget.
"It is an opportunity to comment on the budget consideration, we are late this year in getting our budget out but we do invite any members of the public to attend and see how we are spending their money and what the final outcome will be as far as tax rates."
The meeting is happening on at 9:15 am next Wednesday at the Oxford County Council Chambers in Woodstock. The budget will be available for anyone to review online by the end of the day Friday here. Written and/or verbal comments will be considered by Council at the public meeting.
