A Strathroy resident has gotten in trouble in Oxford County after fleeing from the scene of a collision.
INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP have laid multiple charges after a collision.
Yesterday at 7:50 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Canterbury Street in Ingersoll... and it was reported that one driver failed to remain at the scene. The driver was located by police, thanks to immediate calls from the public. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 42-year-old Strathroy resident is facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure or refusal to comply with a demand, failure to remain at a collision, and failure to report a collision.
The accused was released from custody and will have a court appearance in Woodstock at a later date.
