Woodstock and Norwich will face off in the semifinals after they both advanced over the weekend.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets and the Norwich Merchants have both advanced to the next round of the PJHL playoffs.
The Vets beat the Dorchester Dolphins 3-1 on Friday, with Kobe Nadalin making 23 saves for Woodstock. This resulted in a 4-0 series sweep for the Friendly City.
The Merchants advanced on Saturday after celebrating a 4-2 victory over the New Hamburg Firebirds at the Wilmot Recreation Complex. They won the best-of-seven series 4-1 in the end.
The Battle of Highway 59 will be featured on the Doherty Division semifinals, with Woodstock and Norwich facing each other in the next round. The series schedule has not been released yet.
