Vehicles can not weigh more than 5 tonnes per axel on several county and municipal roads.
OXFORD - Reduced load restrictions are now in effect across Oxford County.
This means vehicles can not weigh more than 5 tonnes per axel on several county and municipal roads. Signs will be posted in the affected areas.
The restrictions have actually been in effect on Blandford-Blenheim and East Zorra Tavistock since February 15th. Tillsonburg's officially came into effect on Sunday and all of the other municipalities had theirs begin yesterday.
The restrictions remain in effect until the end of April, but they could be lifted sooner if the weather cooperates.
