Current Fanshawe students and alumni are invited to a Career fair on Wednesday.
WOODSTOCK - The Fanshawe Woodstock Oxford Regional Campus is hosting their first ever Woodstock career fair.
Fanshawe will have 25 local and provincial employers on hand with more than 200 students and alumni who are looking for summer and permanent jobs. Most of the jobs will be located in and around Oxford County.
Associate Dean of Fanshawe's Woodstock Oxford Regional Campus Greg Yantz says this is a great opportunity for their students.
"Showcasing our highly-skilled students to regional employers is an exciting proposition for all involved in planning this inaugural event. This fair will give our Woodstock students a chance to see the opportunities available in their own backyard and help employers who are seeking talent connect with our campus community."
Director of Employment and Student Entrepreneurial Services Darlene O'Neill says the career fair is open to current Fanshawe students and to all Fanshawe alumni.
"Recognizing the demand for our highly-skilled students and graduates, Fanshawe’s Career Services team is thrilled to co-host this inaugural career fair."
The event is happening on Wednesday March 6th from 10 am to 2 p.m. inside the Goff Hall at the Woodstock District Community Complex.
