If you've purchased a BBQ this year from RONA, you might want to look into this recall. Health Canada has recalled 400 UBERHAUS barbeques (seen on right), due to possible out of control fires. There was at least one incident where flames were seen shooting out of the temperature control panel when the BBQ was ignited. There were no reported injuries. The affected units were sold between February and April of this year. Affected UBERHAUS propane gas barbecues bear the model number 780-0002B and serial numbers starting with 20117800002B.
