A flood warning has been issued in Blandford-Blenheim Township because of ice jams on the Nith River.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - A flood warning remains in place for several regions in the Grand River Conservation Authority including Blandford-Blenheim in Oxford County.
The warning is in place in the Township of Woolwich, City of Cambridge, City of Brantford and along the Nith River through Wilmot Township and Blandford-Blenheim Township.
Ice jams still exist in several locations and Tuesday's rain and melt event is moving through the lower portions of the system on the Nith River at Canning and on the Grand River downstream of Brantford.
Roads staff and municipal emergency responders are advised to monitor conditions, close roads and offer assistance as required.
