Over $190,000 has been lost by multiple victims.
UPDATE (February 13th, 2025): The Oxford OPP has charged a 50-year-old from Tillsonburg with fraud over $5,000.
Their identity has not been made public out of concern for their wellbeing.
The estimated loss is now over $190,000 and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - An investigation is underway after reports of fraud.
Oxford OPP is investigating the reports, which are said to have happened at a retirement home in Norwich Township. In the early stages, it has been determined multiple victims have lost a total of over $50,000. The Major Crime Unit of the Oxford OPP is helping with the ongoing investigation, and police say they have a suspect.
