The 156th edition of the Burford Fall Fair is set to take place this weekend inside the tiny village.
BURFORD - The 156th edition of the Burford Fair is coming up this Thanksgiving.
They have all kinds of fun stuff for the whole family happening in the community for the Long Weekend. Burford Fall Fair Coordinator Chris Howell tells Heart FM about just some of the things going on Sunday.
"We have horse shows, we have our four cylinder truck and derby show, we have a baby show, some pet shows and we also have some feats of strengths happening to see who can pull an antique tractor the furthest."
Howell says the demolition derbys are happening on Saturday along with an antique car show and a rides for the kids. Howell says the fair has always had deep roots in agriculture and this year is no different.
"We have a number of competition and committees that make sure a number of different things in the fair are displayed, so we have harvests come in and we judge on best grains, corns, pumpkins and all kinds of different things."
You can find a complete list of everything happening at the Burford fair online here.
