Future Oxford representatives are giving local councils a sneak peek of what they can expect next year.
OXFORD COUNTY - Future Oxford representatives are stopping by all of the different municipal councils in Oxford to update them on the progress of the Community Sustainability Plan.
Each council will get a sneak peek of what they can expect from the plan in 2017.
Program Director Miranda Fuller tells Heart FM more detailed information will be released next year.
"The data and analytical structure of the Future Oxford Community Sustainability Plan will be released in 2017 so we are currently working on our baseline, using that data to effectively start measuring out our targets and putting some strategies behind how we are going to achieve them."
Fuller adds the Future Oxford website will be getting a makeover.
"We're redesigning our website to be more accessible and provide more information, which will be a good engagement tool so that residents will be able to see what's going on, where, when, events and then also as we're reaching and working on our targets they can be very involved in that process."
Future Oxford representatives have already visited the councils in Ingersoll and Norwich.
