The Future Oxford Speaker series has scheduled stops in Tillsonburg and Tavistock this month.
TAVISTOCK - The Future Oxford Speaker Series will continue with stops in Tavistock and Tillsonburg.
They will be at the Tavistock Public Library on Tuesday March 6th with a drop in session at 6pm and a presentation at 7pm. Manager of Strategic Initiatives Jay Heaman says they will educate the public about green projects.
"I'll be hosting a discussion and we will have some others there to talk specifically about some of the Green Ontario Fund programs, but we will talking about the Green Ontario fund, the international renewable academy that is coming up and some of the electric vehicle programs."
Heaman says they have doing these sessions all across Oxford County.
"The speaker series is an initiative through Future Oxford, through the partnership and sustainability plan. The idea is to get out into the community, primarily through the Oxford County library network and share different initiatives through the sustainability plan."
The session in Tillsonburg is happening later this month on March 19th at the Tillsonburg Public Library.
