Tickets are selling out fast for South Gate Centre's 12 Days of Christmas Lottery
WOODSTOCK - With a 1/125 chances of winning, you might want to try your luck in South Gate Centre's 5th Annual 12 Days of Christmas Lottery.
Executive Director Chris Cunningham says the lottery is a key fundraiser for the Seniors Centre, hoping to exceed the goal each year.
"You could win $10,000 dollars cash and more, actually there are only 2,000 tickets sold, our goal at South Gate Centre is to make $25,000."
The money raised assists with operational costs at the centre. They will also look into purchasing some new ovens, and supplies.
Cunningham says it really is the best deal in the area, and would make an ideal Christmas gift for that special someone or for the hard to buy for someone.
"Daily cash prizes begin December 26th, your tickets are re-entered for every draw, and the tickets are only $25 dollars."
The winners of the daily draws will be announced on Heart FM. The first day give away will be $100, the second day $200 and so on, leading up to the grand prize draw of $10,000.
Winning up some cash in the New Year might help pay off the Christmas credit card bills nicely as a single ticket has the potential to win multiple times, but don't delay in purchasing tickets, Cunningham says they are going fast.
You can purchase tickets at the following locations:
- South Gate Centre (191 Old Wellington St. S)
- Chartwell Oxford Gardens (423 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock)
- First Ontario Credit Union (943 Dundas St, Woodstock)
- Merrifield Book Shop (471 Dundas St, Woodstock)
- Quality Hotel and Suites (580 Bruin Blvd, Woodstock)
