Police are praising a couple of people for turning in over $200 in cash they found around Christmas
A couple of good Samaritans in Oxford are being praised after finding cash left behind.
On Christmas Eve a man found over $200 sitting at the ATM at the Bank of Montreal on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg. The man waited for thirty minutes, hoping to rightful owner would return. When no one came to claim the cash, the man turned it in to the OPP.
On Boxing Day a man at the Ingersoll OnRoute discovered over $200 in American money on the sidewalk. He turned this money into the police.
Anyone who may have lost the cash is asked to call the OPP and identify the exact amount of money and time that it was lost.
