City police have issued a vehicle description after a hit and run earlier in the week. Monday afternoon, around 5:30, police were called to Woody's Gas bar on Dundas St., out by County Road 4. A woman had reported that she was stopped on Dundas and was hit from behind by a minivan that knocked her onto the shoulder of the road. The van took off. The woman that was hit was shaken up, but not injured. Police are looking for an older green minivan, possibly a GMC Astro. It was being driven by a white man. The van would have some front end damage. If you have info, call Woodstock Police at 537-2323.
