A jury has found the 22-year-old man guilty of four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
LONDON/WINDSOR - A guilty verdict has been reached in the London attack trial.
A 22-year-old man has been found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder, after he ran down a Muslim family with his truck in London back on June 6th, 2021.
The attack killed 46-year-old Salman Afzaal, 44-year-old Madiha Salman, 74-year-old Talat Afzaal, and 15-year-old Yumna Afzaal. A nine-year-old boy survived with serious injuries.
The trial took place in Windsor and it lasted 11 weeks. During that time, the jury saw video of the man admitting to police the attack was motivated by white nationalism.
