Oxford OPP say a .22 calibre rifle was stolen from a farm in Norwich Township last week.
NORWICH - Oxford OPP are investigating after a gun was stolen from a farm on Cornell Road in Norwich Township.
Police say the firearm was taken sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning. OPP say someone broke into the barn and a truck at the farm stealing a .22 calibre black Ruger 10-22 rifle with a Bushnell scope attached. Also taken was some hand and power tools and a small amount of animal medication.
An investigation is ongoing.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that are in your neighbourhoods. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
