The money will be used to support two projects, Oxford County roads management systems modernization and Oxford County public website modernization.
WOODSTOCK - The Ontario government is providing up to $226,226 to help improve the delivery of critical programs and services in Oxford.
Local MPP Ernie Hardeman made the announcement on Wednesday. The money will be delivered through the Municipal Modernization Program and will fund the following projects:
- Oxford County Roads Management Systems Modernization
- Oxford County Public Website Modernization
Hardeman says these are important investments.
"Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen how crucial it is for municipalities to be able to efficiently and conveniently deliver services that the people of Oxford can access, when and where they need them. These projects will help ensure that Oxford will benefit from innovative and streamlined solutions in a way that will positively impact services and save taxpayer dollars."
