The Heart FM Toy Truck Breakfast is coming back to the TA Travel Centre.
WOODSTOCK - Heart FM's Toy Truck drive is underway in the Friendly City.
Donation bins are set up at the Heart FM Studio, Scott's No Frills and both of the Woodstock Fire Halls. All of the toy donations will benefit local charities including Operation Sharing and the Salvation Army.
The campaign will end with the annual Toy Truck Breakfast on December 8th.
Woodstock Fire Public Information Coordinator Lisa Woods says it's a great way to kick off the holiday season.
"It's a very festive event with singers, familiar faces from around the community, and interviews with local people. It's just a great way to get into the Christmas spirit and know that you're helping the community at the same time."
Heart FM will broadcast live from the TA Travel Centre with Lainger and Sabrina that morning between 5:30am and 9am.
Woods says encourages everyone to support the cause.
"We're asking people bring in an unwrapped toy to be donated to our local charities to help make someone's Christmas a brighter one."
If you bring a toy donation, you will be able to enjoy the all you can eat breakfast buffet. If you don't bring a toy it will cost $10 for an adult or $5 for kids 12 and under. Kids under three eat for free.
