This week's Heart FM news poll asks, if you were affected by the Rogers outage when did your services resume?
CANADA - It was an interesting start to the weekend for Rogers customers.
They were not able to access their phone, Internet, and television services on Friday due to a country-wide outage.
An official statement from Rogers Communications President and CEO Tony Staffieri says they believe the network system failure was caused by a maintenance update to their core network, which caused some of their routers to malfunction. He says Rogers customers will receive a credit to their account which will be applied automatically.
