The woman was arrested after refusing to provide proof of vaccination and refusing to leave the East Elgin Sports Complex on Thursday.
AYLMER - Aylmer Police charged a 53 year old woman who refused to leave the arena on Thursday.
Police were called to the East Elgin Sports Complex because of a hockey parent who did not provide of proof of vaccination and was refusing to leave.
Staff at the arena asked the woman to leave several times before calling police. Officers attempted to educate her and explain the consequences of her protest. The woman did not budge and police ended up removing her.
She has been charged with obstructing a peace officer and failing to leave premises when directed to do so.
