Anyone seeking help, or wanting to offer a hand this holiday season is encouraged to check out 211.
The service is a one stop guide that can lead people to a wide variety of projects according to United Way Executive Director Kelly Gilson.
"And at this time of year its certainly important for people who are looking for help for food, for support, for winter warmth, for all of those things that come about at this time of year for people in need. Or for people who want to give help."
211 lists everything from Inn and Out of the Cold, to various Christmas dinners, and toy drives.
It's a free service that can be accessed online or by phone.
The Oxford County Holiday Sharing Guide can also help provide some direction when it comes to volunteer initiatives this year.
