It promises to be a great Spring and summer at the Ingersoll Cheese and Agriculture Museum.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Cheese and Agriculture Museum is gearing up for a busy Spring and Summer season.
Curator Scott Gillies was at the Ingersoll Town Council meeting last night to give them an update on the museum and talk about their new exhibits and increased attendance.
"We went to council to show and share some of the good things that have been happening at the museum in the way of new exhibits, increased attendance, upcoming events and us being short listed as the top small museum in Ontario. We have been in operation since 1977 when the cheese factory building was constructed and opened to the public and over the last number of the years the museum has continued to expand both in size in size in number of buildings and the size in the number of collections."
Gillies says they have plenty of events happening this summer including the return of Shakespeare in the Park. You can find more information and a link to vote for them as the best small museum in Ontario online at http://www.ingersoll.ca/visitors/cheese-and-agricultural-museum/cheese-agricultural-museum
