The Cheesy Cow Company is looking for local votes. They have been nominated for the Ontario Made Retailer Spotlight Award.
WOODSTOCK - The cheesiness of Woodstock is at the forefront.
The Cheesy Cow Company has been put on the short list for the Ontario Made Retailer Spotlight Award.
Head Monger for the Company, Wes Mazur says that the Cheesy Cow went through the application and nomination process for the Retailer Spotlight category based on the Ontario companies they supply.
"30 of them are Ontario producers and manufacturers of foods, a whole bunch of course right here at home in Oxford County. Of those 30, there are over 100 products that are made right here in Ontario."
Mazur says that he is hoping for the local residents of Woodstock and those of Oxford County will show their support and vote.
"Folks, from what I understand can vote daily. They are allowed to cast up to 10 votes per day from now until the end of the voting period."
The voting period will run until Sunday, October 1st, and you can visit ontariomade.awardsplatform.com.
Individuals will have to create a free account to register. This prevents bots and allows us to see that real people are voting, also as an incentive for individuals to keep on submitting votes, each time they vote, they will receive an entry to our draw to win 1 out of 5 $200 gift cards to an Ontario Made registered manufacturer of their choice.
On October 1st, 2023, the top voted companies will move onto to our final round of judging where a panel of industry experts will select the winner in each category. The top 3 finalists for each category will be announced at the virtual Manufacturing Day event on Friday, October 6th.
