Oxford OPP are continuing to investigate a serious collision that occurred on Old Stage Road early Sunday morning. Police say around 6 am, a Pontiac Grand Prix was travelling on Old Stage east of Highway 59 when the car left the road, struck a tree and caught fire. Local residents pulled the lone male from the burning vehicle before EMS arrived. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to London Health Sciences Centre by air ambulance. OPP would like to speak with any witnesses, who have not already spoken to police, as they try to determine the cause of the crash.
