The 69th annual Woodstock Rotary Music Festival invites local talent and emerging artists to share the stage.
WOODSTOCK - The 69th annual Woodstock Rotary Music Festival is underway at the Salvation Army Church.
Musicians in the musical theatre, classical voice, piano, strings, woodwinds, and brass categories will be competing to be the best of the best. They will also learn a thing or two from other artists as well.
Coordinator Francis Stevens says the festival always features lots of talent.
"You'll hear little kids who are just learning right up to people who I expect one day may be professionals."
Stevens tells Heart FM absolutely everyone is welcome to check out Oxford's musical talent.
"There's no charge for the event. We're taking donations because there are some expenses associated with the festival, but we want to encourage people to come out and see what all this wonderful talent is doing here in Oxford County."
Musical acts will hit the stage each day between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. There is an hour lunch break before the music kicks off again at 1 p.m. and wraps up between 4:30 and 5p.m.
