A Stand Up To Cancer Telecast will feature a Woodstock teen and her battles with cancer.
WOODSTOCK - A brave Woodstock teen who fought cancer will be featured on a telecast.
Caitlin Timmins has had to fight cancer three times in her life.
The first was at the age of nine with colon cancer.
At around 12, the cancer spread to her lymph nodes making her fight again.
Timmins says however, it was when it spread for the third time that chemo was no longer an option.
"And then, last July they found a tumour on my cervix. They told me that cemo wasn't going to be affective anymore and so this trial was kind of my last option."
She says the drug makes her body fight for her.
"It's an immunotherapy. So it boosts my immune system to make my body fight off the tumor itself."
Since taking the drug, her tests have come back positive.
Her brave story will be on the SU2C telecast on September 7th.
