Construction for the 88 space child care centre should start this March.
TILLSONBURG - A partnership has been formed that will benefit families in Tillsonburg.
360 Developments Group will be bringing a service to the town. President Cedric Tomico says child care is something that is seeing a shortage not only in Tillsonburg, but the entire county. He adds getting a facility like this has been a goal for the organization.
"It was a vision from the very beginning. We are happy to announce that we have finally found a partner with Eyes Child Care. They are a huge corporation that operates all over Ontario. They have about 40 centres already and we are just really happy to announce that Tillsonburg is going to be one of their newest centres come this fall."
Tomico is expecting shovels in the ground this spring.
"Assuming everything goes through with our drawings and permits, we expect a mid-March construction start."
The facility will open up 88 child care spaces, and is coming in with an estimated budget of $2.5 million.
