The Navy Vets travel to Ayr tonight for a first place battle with the Centennials in the first game of a back to back to back!
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Navy Vets are enjoying their best season in recent memory and currently sit in first place in the PJHL standings.
The team is beyond thrilled to be back in first place again. Player, Chris Nauts shares on their success.
"Its only half way through, so we still have a long way to go but it's pretty neat especially since we cant remember the last time that's been around here so being apart of that is pretty neat so far."
The team has three games this weekend in three nights against some pretty tough teams.
Nauts, on the upcoming games starting tonight in Ayr.
"Ayr is good obviously, I mean they are the back to back Schmalz cup champions, but this year we're actually given them a run for their money and hope we're going to turn them around and beat them tonight."
There will be a meet and greet this Friday night after their Burford game.
