A travelling art exhibit has made its way to the Woodstock Museum and is on display until January 11th.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Museum has a new exhibit.
It features the Japanese Canadians and Americans during the Second World War, and it is called "The Suitcase Project." The exhibit travels and is originally from the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre in British Columbia, and is photographed by Kayla Isomura. The idea behind the exhibit is to ask fourth and fifth-generation Japanese Canadians and Americans what they would pace if forcibly removed from their home today.
"The Suitcase Project" debuted in 2018 and has been around Canada and the United States, and people will be able to see it at the Woodstock Museum until January 11th.
The museum is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. free of charge.
