Emergency crews responded to an early morning fire on Main Street near Phebe Street in Norwich Township this morning.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - No injuries are being reported after a fire in Norwich.
Just before 1 a.m. this morning Oxford OPP were called out to assist members of the Norwich Fire Department at a residential fire on Main Street near Phebe Street.
The homeowners were home at the time for the fire, and noticed smoke in time to escape the home without incident.
Roads in that area were closed for several hours while emergency crews dealt with the blaze, but they have since reopened.
The cause of the fire is not deemed as suspicious, but the investigation is ongoing.
