Oxford OPP say an alleged assault last week in Tillsonburg didn't happen
TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP have wrapped up their investigation into an alleged assault on the Trans Canada Trail in Tillsonburg.
An adult female claimed she was walking her dog last Friday morning when she was assaulted by an unknown male and needed to use her car's panic alarm to get away.
After a thorough investigation was conducted and it was determined that the assault did not occur.
The OPP wishes to advise that there is no longer a threat to public safety in regards to that incident as it was reported.
