Citizens won't have to travel far to make sure their concerns reach the ears of Norwich council.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - Norwich Township has announced the dates for their upcoming Town Hall meetings in 2016.
Each year they host these meetings for the public at three locations in the Township. Mayor Larry Martin tells Heart FM it is a great forum for people to come out and ask questions to council.
"I found at the meetings we had last year that there are people who think, 'Well this concern that I have is not worth attending a council meeting.' However, this way if we go to them they are more than likely to voice these concerns to us."
Martin says they were pleased with the results from last year's town hall forum and a number of issues came up.
"They are localized issues; they are all different. For example, in Otterville they had different concerns than Springford and Oxford Centre but most of it has to do with roads and taxes."
The first meeting is happening on Thursday May 12th at the Otterville United Church at 7 p.m. The other meetings will happen in Burgessville and Norwich.
