The food trucks are coming in from all across the province.
NORWICH - Food trucks are coming to the Norwich Nostalgia Days. This year the annual two day event will feature a Food Truck Fest during the evening on July 8th.
Laura Barker is a member of the Norwich BIA, which organizes Nostalgia Days. She explains why they decided to bring in the trucks.
"We get a couple thousand people that come to Nostalgia Days every year and we were just looking for something new something that would be attractive to a different type of person, not so much the shopper but somebody who is really into following food trucks."
Barker tells Heart FM about the food trucks on the roster, which are coming in from all across the province.
"One that has European sandwiches, we have a steak truck, we have a Mexi-fusion cuisine. Cafe du monde crepery which does dessert and main course crepes and we have an ice cream truck."
The Food Truck Fest is full but if other food trucks want to come down to Nostalgia Days they can look into coming in on the Saturday.
Norwich closes its downtown each year usually during the first weekend on July, to celebrate Nostalgia Days.
