Police say the Woodstonian had over double the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
WOODSTOCK - A 34-year-old Woodstock man has been busted for impaired driving in his hometown.
This comes after Woodstock Police conducted a RIDE program on Devonshire Ave Friday night. A vehicle went through shortly after 9:00 p.m. and the officers noticed signs that the driver had been drinking.
He was arrested and taken to the Woodstock Police Headquarters, where it was later revealed that he had over double the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
He's now facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and one count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. His licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded as well.
