Nearly 1/3 of the daily cases numbers recorded today are coming from the Region of Waterloo.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 296 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 543,315.
The Province confirmed 6 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 9,099. Another 384 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 531,278.
The province completed 29,514 tests yesterday. We currently have 284 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 249 people in the ICU and 189 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 95 new cases in the Region of Waterloo, 35 in Toronto, 20 in Peel Region, 19 in Hamilton and 17 in Ottawa.
