UPDATE: One more case has been confirmed as of this evening after a man in his 50's from Halton has died, now reaching a total of 258 cases and two deaths in the province.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario reported 44 new cases of COVID-19 today.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the Province to 258. Those numbers now include a man in his 50's from Halton who has died. A senior from Barrie died this week as well.
The Province currently has 3,971 cases under investigation and 12,241 people have tested negative for the virus. The Province has five resolved cases. The new cases range in age from people in their 20's to a man in his 70's from Haliburton.
Most of the cases are from Toronto or the GTA, they also reported a couple in Hamilton and Ottawa.
