Oxford OPP briefs include a collision involving a cement truck, a case of animal abuse and a chainsaw theft.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP are searching for a suspect after a witness reported a case of animal abuse in Zorra Township.
They told police they saw a woman kicking an 8 month old German Sheppard puppy several times in the Allen Street Park early Thursday afternoon. Officers were unable to find the suspect and the dog when they attended the scene.
The woman is desrcibed standing at about 5'6" and weighing 110 pounds. She had her brown hair tied up in a pony tail and was wearing a white shirt and track pants at the time of the incident.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Approximately 200 litres of diesel fuel spilled onto 37th line in Zorra Township after a cement truck collided with an SUV.
The Ministry of the Environment, Oxford County Roads department and Oxford OPP were contacted at around 10am Friday.
The driver and the passenger in the SUV had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries, but the 4 month old child travelling with them was not harmed. The driver of the cement truck was also uninjured.
Charges are pending as an investigation continues.

SOUTH WEST OXFORD - A chainsaw has been reported stolen from a shed in South West Oxford Township.
According to Oxford OPP, a suspect broke into the shed on Zenda Line sometime between Sunday and Thursday.
