Briefs include a couple of thefts including a woman who lost her white gold, diamond wedding ring.
DELHI - A woman has lost her wedding ring after a vehicle entry on Orchard Avenue in Delhi.
Police say the ring was taken on Monday morning. It is white gold with three diamonds. Also stolen was pair of Zeal sunglasses, Canadian Tire and Beer Store gift cards along with cash.
The cards were used at Canadian Tire and the Beer store in Delhi later that day. Police are going through surveillance footage to see if they can spot the thief.
Here are some tips to prevent you from becoming a victim:
- Always secure your vehicle doors when parking your vehicle, even if you are only going to be a few minutes.
- Remove valuables from your vehicle. If you can't, then keep them from plain view.
- Park in well lighted areas with high traffic.
- Clean out your garage and park your vehicle in it - locking your vehicle and the garage door.

DELHI - Police are investigating after a couple of saws and a drill were stolen from an unlocked shed in Delhi.
The break and enter happened late Monday morning.

WATERFORD - Police are investigating after a deep cycle battery was stolen from trailer in Waterford.
The trailer was broken into on College Street on Monday afternoon. The battery was taken from a carrying case in the trailer causing extensive damage.
The theft and damage is valued at approximately $225 dollars.
