People living in Plattsville, Princeton, Drumbo, and Bright will have to check the last digit of their street address before they water their lawn.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - It has been a mostly dry summer in Oxford County this year.
County officials are now asking people living in Bright, Princeton, Plattsville, and Drumbo to limit their outdoor water use for the time being.
They can only water their lawn once a week, and it's all depending on the last digit of their street address. We have the breakdown posted below:
- Mondays for those with a 0 or 1 as their last digit.
- Tuesdays for those with a 2 or 3 as their last digit
- Wednesdays for those with a 4 or 5 as their last digit
- Thursdays for those with a 6 or 7 as their last digit
- Fridays for those with an 8 or 9 as their last digit.
The time of use will be the same times that fall under Level 1 - Conserve of the County's water level restrictions. This means residential properties will be able to use outdoor water between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. as well as 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Commercial and Industrial properties will be able to use outdoor water between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
