INGERSOLL - Residents of Ingersoll have issued complaints to Oxford County after salesmen claiming to work for the county needed to enter their home to inspect the water metre.
Oxford County has responded to the complaints by saying in no way is this group affiliated with the county and you should never let these salesmen in your home. County employees always carry ID badges and have clearly marked vehicles to easily detect who they are. Residents are being urged if they are approached at home by the salesmen to notify the police immediately.
