OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford OPP is asking for the public's help tracking down a missing 63-year-old man.
William "Bill" Barton stands at about 5'7" with a medium build, grey hair and glasses. He's from London and he was last seen wearing a silver/grey puffy jacket, black jeans and pull on boots.
Barton was last spotted on foot close to the westbound Woodstock ONroute on the 401 last night. Officers called in the canine unit and the Emergency Response Team to help track him down.
The OPP closed off the westbound lanes of the highway close to Sweaburg Road last night and we have received confirmation that this was in relation to this missing persons case.
The Oxford OPP Major Crime Unit is investigating the matter and anyone with information should call 1-888-310-1122.
