Police were called out to the Finkle Street area yesterday after a report of a young man carrying a rifle near the community complex.
WOODSTOCK - There was a heavy police presence in the Finkle Street area after reports of a young man carrying a gun.
Yesterday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. police were told a teenager with long, dark, scruffy hair was walking southbound aggressively while carrying a brown rifle. At the time he was wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.
Officers in uniform and in plain clothes searched the area, letting nearby schools, day cares, and the Woodstock Community Complex staff know of the investigation.
Anyone with information about this is asked to call police or crime stoppers
