Norfolk OPP investigating theft of poppy donation box from Simcoe Mall, Tuesday afternoon.
SIMCOE -- Norfolk OPP are investigating the theft of a poppy donation box at the Simcoe Mall.
According to police, some time between 2:00 and 3:00 pm Tuesday, an unknown suspect(s) took the donation box from the counter at Wrap It Up located in the food court.
A concerned citizen found the box outside the mall with the poppies still in the box but the funds that were donated had been removed.
Police say they are reviewing surveillance video and are hoping the public can assist in their investigation.
