A number of areas throughout Woodstock are without power this morning. According to listeners, a large portion of the north-east part of city has been affected, which stretches as far as Wilson and Main, Canfield and East Park Drive. Woodstock Hydro say the power went out around 7:00 am this morning. Many residents and businesses are without hydro at this time and traffic lights are out in the affected areas which includes Dundas, Devonshire, Springbank and Lansdowne. Woodstock Hydro have not released the reason for the power outage but say crews are assessing the situation. Power has been restored to some areas that were affected earlier, however we still have a number of areas that are 'in the dark' this morning. Heart FM will pass along any details once they become available.
