Daily case numbers continue a downward trend in Ontario with 469 new cases confirmed today, 1,010 resolved cases and 9 additional deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 469 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 537,076.
The Province confirmed 9 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,887. Another 1,010 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 520,811.
The province completed 17,579 tests yesterday. We currently have 621 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 481 people in the ICU and 305 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 182 new cases in Toronto, 76 in Peel, 40 in the Porcupine Health Unit Region and 30 in Durham.
