ONTARIO - The Provincial Medical Officer of Health for Ontario is recommending cancelling any gathering of 50 or more people.
Dr. David Williams says this is one of the best ways we can stop the spread of COVID-19. This would include, day cares, restaurants, bars, places of worship, churches and private schools.
Public Health Officials are asking bars and restaurants to limit themselves to take-out and delivery.
Earlier today the Health Minister for Ontario Christine Elliott said that we are not at the point of ordering these closures, however the situation is rapidly changing and the Province is ready to take that step if necessary.
