Garbage, recycling, and organics will be picked up on the same day in the New Year.
WOODSTOCK - A pick up day for recycling has been determined for Woodstock and South-West Oxford.
Starting in the New Year, both communities will follow a six-day cycle, with collection moving up one day every week. There has been a lot of work between Oxford County, the City of Woodstock, and Circular Materials, and the decision was to make sure recycling pick up aligns with garbage and green bin collection.
Green bin collection will be a new addition for both communities in the New Year. The six-day collection cycle will also be new for Woodstock residents, but it has already been implemented for South-West Oxford residents.
If you are looking for more information regarding waste collection you can click here.
Woodstock residents will also be getting a letter to their homes detailing the new collection zone and schedule. Those schedules should be arriving in mailboxes this month.
